Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
The MBTI is a personality assessment tool designed to measure individual preferences for perceiving the world and making decisions. Based on the typological theories originated by Carl Gustav Jung, developers Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter, Isabel Briggs Myers created and published the initial assessment in 1962. The MBTI instrument has been called "the best-known and most trusted personality assessment tool available today". Through a 126 short questions and work-pair combinations, the MBTI identifies differing styles of perception, judgment, energy direction and lifestyle. The interpretation of the tool and results of team member assessments are presented in a 2–4 hour experiential training session.
